Case Study | Corporate AV/VC Board room installation, Reading

This project was the first roll out of over 30 corporate board room Audio Visual and Video Conferencing installations that Amber carried out in conjunction with a third party supply chain. Amber were involved in early stage scheduling for de-installation, installation, out of hours working, programming and commissioning. With a bespoke design for Large, Medium and Small AV and VC rooms; An example of one boardroom is as follows:

2 x Christie 4K resolution and 3D capable projectors were displayed onto a 6Mtr x 2Mtr rear projection screen. The room also included 2 x 80” displays, 6 x laptop input points via floor boxes, 6 x meeting room tables with AMX transmitters fixed to the underside. The ‘pilots’ desk where the clients technician that can run the presentations, and includes 2 x preview monitors. A 3zone audio system with in-wall and ceiling speakers, 6 x polycom ceiling mics, Polycom Eagle eye director camera and a third eagle eye camera. A lectern with integrated AV including confidence monitors, and an AMX control system including a wireless touch panel.

Amber were involved with first fixing, including out of hours works to accommodate the clients timetable. The site was very Health and Safety conscious and all engineers had to wear full 5-point PPE at all times, carry out site inductions and be escorted on and off site.

We have been working with this client now for over 3 years on the roll out of similar projects, they continue to specifically ask for Amber engineers as we have built up an excellent working relationship and continue to go ‘above and beyond’ for them.
